When three-year-old Oliver was asked what he wanted most right now, he answered, “Shoes that don’t hurt.” For his young, pregnant mom, this request was nowhere near the top of her list. Housing, medical expenses, and food were the top three. Would someone help? Emmanuel House International (EHI) will. We are here to serve Moms and Moms-to-Be in crisis, their born and unborn babies, and their families in Putnam County, neighboring Northern Westchester and Eastern Dutchess Counties.
EHI provides, at no charge, confidential and non-judgmental prenatal and after-birth support and material assistance to women, teens and their families, regardless of their age, race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, disability or socioeconomic status. You, our donors and friends, help us to continue to provide this much needed assistance. Even more so this year, we at Emmanuel House need to reach out to you in these difficult times for our Moms and Moms-to-Be. Few families are having an easy time financially these days. Imagine being a single mom with a toddler and another child on the way. You have no job, no food in your refrigerator, and your rent is due. Where do you turn? You turn to EHI.
Please help us continue to be there for Moms and Moms-to-Be in crisis by donating to our 2018 Annual Appeal. Your gift guarantees a gift of life and love to someone who needs that helping hand. Oliver will get those shoes that fit him, and his mom will get the life-skills and material assistance she needs to be able to get a job and to raise both Oliver and his new baby sister to be happy and healthy members of our community. Our “Family of Families” here at Emmanuel House will always keep you and your loved ones in our thoughts and prayers! Thank you so much in advance for your generosity!
May God Bless You for All You Do for His Littlest Ones and Their Moms and Families!
