Beginning on November 20, 2014, we at Emmanuel House International will be holding our online auction “Get Into Giving Tuesday with EHI” as part of our 2014 Giving Tuesday (Dec 2) Campaign to raise much needed funds to provide critical resources and support for our Moms and Moms-to-Be in need, their Babies, and their Families. The more items we have in the auction and the more people we have participating, the more money we can raise, and so we are asking for your help.
For the last few months, we have been gathering a “Christmas Wish List” from each Mom and Mom-to-Be for their families. These wishes often include a warm snowsuit or winter jacket; boots, shoes, or sneakers; winter clothing; a holiday outfit; or pajamas, underwear, and socks. For them, these will be the only new clothes they will receive during the holiday season and perhaps for the year. Of course, each mom additionally asks for a special toy for each of her children; similarly this will probably be the only new toy they will receive during the holiday season. As you know, the holiday season also brings high heating bills, colds and coughs, and coats and boots, in addition to the many other ongoing needs. These can be crushing financial blows to any Mom or Mom-to-Be in crisis.

In order to truly make our online auction a success, we need your help to spread the word. You can share a link to our online auction at https://www.biddingforgood.com/EHI through your personal or organization’s e-newsletter, announcement board, or Facebook updates. Please share the news of our online auction with your family and friends so they can be part of the excitement. Refer a Friend (or 2, or 3) to our auction so they can get involved too.
